HOO’PONOPONO

This ancient Hawaiian practice of forgiveness functions as both a communication concept for reconciliation and a tool for restoring self-love and balance.

The word ho’oponopono roughly translates to “cause things to move back in balance” or to “make things right.” It’s a very zen-like concept. (In native Hawaiian language, “pono” means balance, in the sense of “life.”

Accordingly, chanting this phrase over and over is a powerful way to cleanse the body of guilt, shame, haunting memories, ill will, or bad feelings that keep the mind fixated on negative thoughts. Perfect toy for monkey mind!

As a forgiveness practice, it is also deeply resonant, as it tends to penetrate our inner monologue over time.

To try it out for yourself, simply have it on repeat in your mind for your “monkey” mind to be busy and guided.

Before: rub your hands together vigurously to activate the meridians in the hands. 

After: rinse with warm water without using any soup. Your skin will feel wonderful. The salt will start neutralizing your magnetic field and help the body to go back into its natural state of harmony. Lie down and create a cocoon for deep rest and relaxation. Make sure to keep the solar plexus warm and covered, I love using cashmere or wool blanket to wrap the waist and hip area.

Sea salt has great healing properties, and a bath in sea salt water helps to relieve dry and itchy skin as well as cure serious conditions like eczema and psoriasis. It facilitates quick healing by opening up the pores, improving circulation and hydrating the tissues.

It is believed that rock salt is good for diabetics, prevents osteoporosis, reduces depression and stress, prevents and heals muscle cramps, numbness and tingling sensations, keeps the blood vessels flexible, maintains the correct acid-alkaline levels, helps in digestion, relieves a number of skin problems, benefits in relieving arthritic problems, to name a few.

Although salt is powerful in historical and metaphorical terms, its spiritual power often goes unnoticed.

DETOX BATH SOAK

To gently remove heavy metals and radiation from our physical and energetic bodies enjoy this powerful bath soak recipe to ease the discomfort and allow organic detoxification to take place.

Simply fill the bathtub with filtered water.

• 2 cups of red mill baking soda or any baking soda without any additional additives

• 2 cups of highest quality sea salt, preferably local, avoid table salt or pink salt

• 1 cup of 20 Mule Team Borax

OPTIONAL TO ADD:

• Add pine oil or other essential oil (highest quality)

• 1/2 cup | bentonite clay

• 2 tsp. - 1/4 cup | ginger powder

• 2 tsp. - 1/4 cup | matcha green tea

• 2 cups | food grade or regular Hydrogen Peroxide

  
  DIRECTIONS:

  Put in a tub of hot water and soak for 30 minutes or more with a wet towel over the chest. Also good to scrub skin while in bath.

  
  Good to use magnesium lotion or magnesium oil with coconut oil following the bath.

  *** If filtered water is not available in your space you can cut this recipe in half and do a foot soak with filtered water.

  *** DO NOT boil unfiltered water, that’s even more dangerous. When you boil water with fluoride it turns into florine witch is a smaller compound and it goes into your system with other toxins on a cellular level and causes more harm to all of your systems.
